Distinctive Art Source (DAS) and the Children’s Rainforest Project have been working with local children through a cancer recovery project in Central California to create a mosaic wall sculpture installation for Children’s Hospital of Central California. Shown here, a sneak peak of a local artist installing the water stream sculpture which will be fully unveiled upon the opening of Paramount Farms Plaza, the new 600,000 square foot expansion of Children’s Emergency Department and Trauma Center. The kids have done an amazing job!

Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, Lehigh Valley, Pa. opened its new Pediatric Emergency Room on February 21st. The new 12-bed facility was designed by Karlsberger and provides the latest in design and technology for Children’s Emergency Services. Lehigh Valley Hospital will now be able to serve its surrounding area, eliminating the need for parents to travel long distances to regional children’s hospitals.

Karlsberger is pleased to welcome back Quentin Elliott as a Senior Design Coordinator. Quentin’s 24 years of experience has been concentrated in healthcare. His experience in design, documentation and construction of both adult and pediatric healthcare facilities is broad. He credits the time he spent as a designer and planner for giving him a unique perspective in his more recent roles as project manager, document production leader and construction administrator. Quentin’s Karlsberger project experience includes serving as project manager for the SUNY Upstate Medical University’s Vertical Expansion project, located in Syracuse, New York, which included the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Central New York, and as construction administrator and document production coordinator for the Dublin Methodist Hospital in Dublin, Ohio. He also brings to Karlsberger project experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Quentin received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University.
