We evaluate capital costs, along with operational costs, resulting in a project plan that is cost-conscious and delivers the best ratio of performance to money spent.
Niswonger Children’s Hospital
The 37-bed tertiary care “children’s hospital within a hospital” includes a dedicated pediatric ED with its own entry and treatment zone; a pediatric surgical suite with two ORs and its own pre/post op and holding/recovery areas; and several PICU, med/surg and NICU beds.
Children’s National Medical Center NICU
Children’s National Medical Center’s (CNMC) Neonatology Program is ranked in the top 10 in the country according to U.S. News. The NICU is the region’s only Level III C, the highest distinction available by the American Academy of Pediatrics’ guidelines.
University of Miami – Biomedical Research Building
The 10-story Biomedical Research Building (BRB) includes two floors of vivarium space; seven floors of research laboratories, including Human Genomics, Stem Cells, Cardiac Research, a GMP Facility, and three Research Imaging Suites; and a penthouse housing mechanical systems.
Rose M. Singer Center – Rikers Island
The Rose M. Singer Center is an 800-bed women’s institution providing minimum, medium and maximum security housing for detainees and sentenced adolescents and adults. The facility features a central outdoor recreational courtyard surrounded by administrative areas, inmate program access and support service functions.
All Children’s Hospital
The solution was to design a new 259-bed total replacement facility for All Children’s Hospital and to literally design Bayfront’s obstetrics services into the new pediatric hospital – a unique approach to the hospital within a hospital concept.
All Children’s Hospital – Outpatient Care Center
A bridge connects the Outpatient Care Center to the hospital across the street to the north as well as a second bridge linking the MOB to the primary parking garage to the south.
The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research
The Institute is one of the nation’s 78 NIH-designated General Clinical Research Centers (GCRC). It is among the top six percent of all NIH-funded institutions across the nation.
St. Vincent Charity Hospital – 5th Floor Renovation
UNDER CONSTRUCTION: Working closely with department staff, hospital leadership, and the hospital facilities team, the design was shaped for a more modernized and updated inpatient floor. The floor will feature 32 new, private patient rooms including various support functions.
Village Hospital
Situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, preservation of the natural setting and trees was an important consideration during the design process.
