Paid Time Off
Each full-time regular employee earns 120 hours (3 weeks) of paid time off per fiscal year. Employees earn paid time off from the date of hire, pro-rated through the end of that fiscal year. Part-time regular employees earn paid time off on a percentage of time worked basis. After completing five years of service, full-time regular employees earn 160 hours (4 weeks) of paid time off per fiscal year. Senior Associates and employees with 15 years of service earn 180 hours (4.5 weeks) of paid time off per fiscal year. Officers and employees with 20 years of service earn 200 hours (5 weeks) of paid time off per fiscal year.

Flex Time
Karlsberger’s flex time policy permits most employees to begin their work day between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. Supervisor and employee work together to set mutually agreeable flex time schedules.

Holidays
Karlsberger observes 7 holidays per year. Those holidays are:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day

Each regular employee also receives one additional personal choice holiday per year. (Employees hired after June 30 this year are not eligible until the following year.)

Summer Hours
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, normal office hours change from five, eight hour days Monday – Friday to four, nine hour days Monday – Thursday and from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Friday morning.
