Meals On Wheels

We are excited to say that we have been working with Life Care Alliance for over a year now, delivering meals to people in need in and around Columbus, Ohio. Thank you to Julie Fountain, Anna Kalnow, Jim Malench, Maureen Pennington, Nick Temerario, Elizabeth Werner, Elizabeth Wohler and Steve Zilles for volunteering their lunch time twice a week to drive for Meals On Wheels.

Latest addition to the Karlsberger team – Sandra Shield Tkacz, AIA, ACHA – Senior VP, Project Executive

With 18 years of experience, Sandy has dedicated her professional career to health facilities design, including programming, master planning, medical planning, and project management. Sandy earned her M of Arch degree from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design. Formerly, she was the first woman principal and director of planning and healthcare with her previous firm.

For more than 30 years, Joe has devoted his career to planning and designing healing environments that embrace, encourage, and entertain patients, their families, and caregivers. Joe was listed in the “Top 25 Most Influential People in Healthcare,” by Healthcare Design (December 2009), and was lead architectural designer and campus master planner for Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX, the first hospital in the world to achieve LEED® platinum-level certification.
